Dropping Leaves
Leaf drop can be a result from:
OverWatering:
Overwatering your plant can lead to root rot which can cause leaves to drop. Ensure that you follow the recomended watering guideline for your plant or read our article on watering.
Shock/Stress:
Some plants are sensitive to environmental change such as light levels & temperature fluctuations or even the stress of moving home. To minimise stress on the plant try and avoid making multiple changes at once.
Yellow Leaves
Yellowing leaves can be causes by several issues:
Watering Issues:
Underwatering you plant can cause the new growth to turn yellow, whereas overwatering typically cause yellow leaves on the lower or older leaves. Always check you soil first before watering, if its too wet; allow it to dry out before watering.
Sunlight Exposure:
The leaves can yellow due to light levels. This can be caused by to much light or not enough. Monitor how much light your plants is getting and either move it further away from a window if its getting to much or if not getting enough consider relocating to a brighter spot.
